- • Firefox
- • Safari
- • Internet Explorer 7 and 8
- • Google Chrome

-
Q. How do I start using eHound?
FreeHound is scheduled for release in March 2010. You will be able to set up your account in a matter of minutes, and be up and running in the time it takes you to add your location details via the online interface, and insert the eHound search and results pages into your website.
eHound Professional Edition is designed for brands which have up to 500 locations, and more complex requirements in terms of filtering, users and reporting.
As such implementation generally involves some degree of customisation and integration, with lead times measured in days rather than hours.

eHound Enterprise Edition is suited to organisations that need to manage and deliver location information over multiple geographies, brands and channels.
In this context organisational scalability is a key criteria for success, and will often warrant a specification process. Typical lead times would be 2-4 weeks.

Q. What questions can I answer with eHound?
Unlike the GoogleMaps API, eHound incorporates a powerful reporting engine which allows clients to monitor and report on customer search activity. With eHound you can answer questions such as:
- • How well do my current store locations (or distribution network) match to where consumers are searching for me?
- • Do I have any particular gaps in my store or distribution network?
- • What channels do my customers use to search for me?
- • What time of the day (or day of the week) do my customers search for me?
- • In terms of search activity, how well did consumers respond to my last marketing campaign?
Over time the platform begins to generate a positive feedback loop which can be used to refine marketing strategies (including media-buying) based on real-time business intelligence.
